FinderPop for MacPowerPC

FinderPop 2.5.7

Right in the middle of 2018, I’m doing my standard search for PowerPC apps and found FinderPop which has brought a whole new life to my “pretty” and “powerful” 15 year old Mac computer.

FinderPop is a simple, yet powerful and intricate app.  It will keep everything you need one-click away, for quick and easy access.  It’s great for shortcuts and it will help you organize your app like never before.

I’m also pleased to report that it runs on an Intel Mac and our good old friend, Tiger 10.4

Needless to say –  it’s Free, so don’t waste your time,  click on the link below and install it right away.  Just make sure to share your find on your favourite social media page, and don’t forget to tag the app and your favourite blog 😀

A powerful, easy to use tool to browse the contents of your iPod/iPhone/iPad from your Mac.

* DeTunes 1.0.8 – Free – http://www.headlightsoft.com/detune/ – PowerPC friendly.  Works on 10.5/(Leopard).

 One of the greatest features is the ability to copy the music from your iPod back to your computer or the other way around.  It’s a must have application if you have any kind of iPod.  Also it’s a back up safer.

EagleFiler Organize e-Mails, Web Pages, Files, etc…

The question before I write this post is Why we do not save our documents?  I just lost my entire post because of sheer laziness…  Lesson learned and now it’s time to move on!

We have been posting here for awhile now and my PowerPC friends know that I always try to find free or low cost applications to share for many reasons.  Sometimes I come across some non-free applications that I think my readers would be interested in, and post them anyways.  These products often have features that the free ones do not…

EagleFiler 1.5.10 (Demo) – PowerPC 10.4 – Tiger / 10.5 – Leopard.  It’s an easy way to archive and manage all your documents, and various other pieces of information including e-mails, web pages, etc.  Organize everything into folders and add tags and notes to make it easier to search for later!

http://c-command.com/eaglefiler/  (Go Support for the version 1.5.10).  The new version is not compatible on PowerPC.

To-Do List Manager for PowerPC

For a long time now, I’ve been holding onto these programs and have only just decided to let it all out, because we’ve been very busy trying to source and share apps that support the PowerPC.  These ones come as suggestions from my readers, from around the world, and I didn’t want them to think that I kept their suggestions all to myself!  These are great applications that seem to surround the task of organizing your life.  You won’t regret having these To-Do list managers installed in your machine.  Some of them also work with Windows (if you’re so inclined)…

Here are 4 names that do the job very well and all of them are PowerPC friendly!

* Task Coach – (Free) – 1.3.20 – (Tiger 10.4/Leopard 10.5) – http://www.taskcoach.org/

* Simple To-Do – (Free) – 2.3 – (Leopard 10.5) – http://www.julius-eckert.com/project/view/1/5 or you can download it here: https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/26662/simpletodo

* Simple Task – (Free) – 1.1.1 – (Leopard 10.5) – With iPhone support – http://www.simpletaskapp.com/ or you can download it here: https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/31199/simpletask

* ToTo – (Free) – 1.5 – (Leopard 10.5) I need to point out that this app runs in the menu bar, which is a nice touch and the icon is gorgeous…it reminds me of the musical Wicked. 🙂 Anyways http://www.fredandrandall.com/toto/

I would like to highlight that these applications are all free and some of them are open for donations to help to keep their projects alive.  Also I want to mention that like them, Mac PowerPC also is accepting donations which we use to keep this project online.  Your donations help me pay for the various expenses associated with keeping a blog online, and I’m committed to continue searching for new and free software options for PowerPC users.  Feel free to send us some love in your comments and check out our advertisements – That would also help me keep this blog up and running!

Peace!

P.S.:  Thanks to http://thepowerpcarchive.com that recommend a nice application:

Tinderbox – Organize Your Notes on PowerPC

Tinderbox – 5.10.0 – 10.5 – Leopard PowerPC. (Demo $249.00) – http://www.eastgate.com/Tinderbox/

I had second thoughts about posting about this application because in my opinion, it’s very expensive.  Then I reflected and realized that it’s not my job to decide what is expensive for others…we all have different budgets and life circumstances.  That aside, Tinderbox is a great application to store and organize your notes, ideas and plans.  Version 5.10.0 its PowerPC friendly so I couldn’t pass it by without mentioning them here on Mac PowerPC.

This is a very powerful and personal application that creates interactive diagrams to construct events, plans, projects, etc.  Ultimately, it should make the complicated task of analyzing and organizing your life very easy to tackle.  Give it a try and let us know how it worked out for you.
