I’m assuming that most of you are already aware of some updates available for PowerPC’s applications, but I decided to make a post just in case you missed it! So this post is really just one for “checking” out information you may not have been aware of. Let’s see how up to date you are!
For a long time now, I’ve been holding onto these programs and have only just decided to let it all out, because we’ve been very busy trying to source and share apps that support the PowerPC. These ones come as suggestions from my readers, from around the world, and I didn’t want them to think that I kept their suggestions all to myself! These are great applications that seem to surround the task of organizing your life. You won’t regret having these To-Do list managers installed in your machine. Some of them also work with Windows (if you’re so inclined)…
Here are 4 names that do the job very well and all of them are PowerPC friendly!
* ToTo – (Free) – 1.5 – (Leopard 10.5) I need to point out that this app runs in the menu bar, which is a nice touch and the icon is gorgeous…it reminds me of the musical Wicked. 🙂 Anyways http://www.fredandrandall.com/toto/
I would like to highlight that these applications are all free and some of them are open for donations to help to keep their projects alive. Also I want to mention that like them, Mac PowerPC also is accepting donations which we use to keep this project online. Your donations help me pay for the various expenses associated with keeping a blog online, and I’m committed to continue searching for new and free software options for PowerPC users. Feel free to send us some love in your comments and check out our advertisements – That would also help me keep this blog up and running!
Today, we’ve got great news for our readers. One of our regulars (PowerMac4Ever) gave us the great idea to convert our blog [MacPowerPC] to an eBook, so our users could have a reference guide for their PowerPCs. We confess that in the beginning we thought that it wasn’t going to happen. After we sat and put some thought and some research into it we realized that it could be really cool to offer an eBook to our loyal fans. For a limited time, we are offering the complete MacPowerPC blog in PDF format absolutely FREE as a sign of appreciation to our diligent readers. All we ask is that you subscribe to our blog and we will send a copy to your e-mail. Should you want to offer a small donation to help keep this blog alive, we appreciate your support!
The benefits of having the blog as an eBook are that it can be saved onto any device and taken with you, wherever you go! Subscribe now and get for Free your copy of eBook for Mac PowerPC.
Thank you PowerMac4Ever for the great idea!!!
Also we have a new page called PowerPC U > This is a place that you can share all your favorite apps/blogs/doubts/etc. Take your time to browse around and share with us your results and what applications your PowerPC can’t live without, and want your fellow PowerPCers to know all about them!
