Yes, i tried it once but back in the day it was not useful for anything unfortunately.
I understand that it is a hard undertaking to trying to “rebuild” Windows. And it won’t get easier with the progress Microsoft makes and how they change everything with each version. OK, they haven’t played with the kernel in the last 20 years it seems, but it still isn’t easy.
So imho it’s nice to play with it but that’s all, sadly.
I have tested ReactOS it many times in virtual machines and it works very fast compared to Windows XP or other operating systems. Unfortunately it is not yet usable for daily use. But it has lately improved very much, so I believe we will some day have an open source clone of Windows operating system.
