Youtube + Leopard Market

We are in great shape in 2014!   I have a list of applications that people have suggested for me that I’m looking forward to share with you very soon.  But before that, I want to share a great post from my “brother-blog”  PPCLUDDITE, who does great work to keep our “senior citizen” of technology alive and kicking since 2010.  Recently he found a very interesting way to watch Youtube videos, check this link for more information: http://ppcluddite.blogspot.com/2014/02/new-gui-app-for-youtube-dl.html .
I also want to share a project from a new blog/site that has a lot of potential and good ideas for PowerPC users.  They created an AppStore for PowerPC which they named “Leopard Market”.  As the name says, it’s pretty much for Leopard OS X and the forum links + news you can be reviewed here: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1705790 .  But he also is behind the PowerPC Archive, a site that you will find great material to download and make your Mac PowerPC more productive, which I’ve linked right here: http://ppcarchive.dyniform.net/ once you get there don’t forget to check the Blog category for news/tips/etc on the PowerPC Centre -http://powerpccentre.wordpress.com/
Keep your PowerPC ON.

NetFlix on PowerPC (Is it Possible?)

I admit that I regularly get e-mails asking me how to watch Netflix on a PowerPC, so I thought I had better answer this question to the masses.  In the past I did some research but I didn’t have time to finish the post.  Here are some of the links and resources that I have to share with you:

I don’t have a Netflix account so I’m not sure if works or not.

This Link it says to Delete InstallationCheck from the “Show Package Contents” > “Resources”.

Please if you have some time to share your results with our community we really appreciate.

Here is very interesting, the steps with Firefox worked well.  It’s something to consider.

Pandora Mini Player Using WebKit

PandoraMan 1.1.1 – (Free) PowerPC 10.5 – Leopard.

Here is a cool application to have on your PowerPC!  PandoraMan is a small application to run the Pandora mini player using WebKit.  Now you can quit Camino, Safari, etc without killing your music stream.
