Saturday! Saturday is my day off from my regular job, which is actually one of my busiest days because it’s the day that I wake in the morning, have my coffee and get to “work” here on Mac PowerPC. I always try to have 3 posts for the following week done by the end of the day. But enough about me! I hope you guys will like what I found for PowerPC this week!
I still use MSN once in awhile because I’m from the time when MSN was the coolest thing online. I still like to use iChat, as it’s one of my favorite instant messengers. It’s simple, clean and relatively easy to use…Some of you might think that I’m only a mac fan but the fact is if we enjoy Mac OS X applications and systems it’s OUR preference at the end of the day!
If you guys are also in the same camp as me, there is a way to sync iChat with MSN and this blog will guide you through the process, step-by-step: http://gigaom.com/apple/how-to-connect-ichat-to-msn-facebook-and-more/
Psi 0.15 (Free) – http://psi-im.org/ – it’s a really good client for Jabber and this version is compatible with 10.5. PowerPC friendly.
Psi 0.14 works on 10.3 / 10.4
But if you use iChat, you will be limited to the typing mode only and won’t be able to use video chat, etc. This is perfect for me because I don’t like this option anyways.
But you might be asking why encounter all this work if it is easier to use Adium, Amsn or the most powerful, Skype. If you also prefer iChat, let me know in your comments, and tell me why!
Thank you all!
In 10.4 I use adium (I think it doesn’t have the option for jabber accounts (faceboook), but in 10.5 I use iChat:
There is pidgin too, and the old version of mercury messenger (http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/14970/mercury-messenger)
Thanks for the tips! By the way, I just LOVE your blog! It’s so amazing! It makes my iBook G4 feel so new! I use tenfourbird because of your blog… But did you mention iScroll for iBooks? It make them able to do simplistic trackpad gentures… and yes, of course, it’s PowerPC! And maybe you could also make a post about iLionGood by AquaDock? I have it on right now and my whole PowerPC feels like Mountain Lion! Anyways, love your blog!
Psi 0.15 shows up as an intel app for me.
Hi there, bellow “Download Now” there is a option “Other System and Languages”. You will find the PowerPC 0.15 there. Thanks
Oh, woops! Anyway 0.14 works fine for me!

I visited several blogs except the audio feature for audio songs present at this web site
is genuinely fabulous.
